State of New Hampshire Makes Historic Investments into Mental Health System

Concord, NH –  Yesterday, Governor Chris Sununu and NH DHHS Commissioner Lori Shibinette announced the State of New Hampshire intends to buy Hampstead Hospital, another step in delivering better mental health services for the people of New Hampshire.

"We are making transformational changes to our mental health system, and yesterday we announced NH is in the process of buying Hampstead Hospital — a historic investment that will help our youth who are struggling most get the services they need and deserve," said Governor Chris Sununu.
