Governor Sununu Strengthens Bail Reform Law

Concord, NH - Today, Governor Chris Sununu signed SB 314, relative to the release of a defendant pending trial, into law.

"Earlier this year I called for strengthening New Hampshire's bail reform law and I am pleased to see that the legislature has taken bipartisan action," said Governor Chris Sununu. "It is critical to close loopholes that could potentially allow dangerous suspects from causing harm in our communities while they await trial, and this bill is another step in the right direction."
