Governor Sununu Signs Bipartisan Letter Encouraging Reform, Expansion of Federal Pell Grant Program

Concord, NH - Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement after signing on to a letter with a bipartisan coalition of governors to Senator Lamar Alexander and Senator Patty Murray regarding reform and expansion of the federal Pell Grant program:

"The federal Pell Grant program is an invaluable tool in providing aid to low-income students as they pursue a post-secondary education," said Governor Chris Sununu. "I join my fellow governors in urging members of the Senate to consider key reforms to the program, which will expand eligibility and opportunity for students both here in New Hampshire and across the country."
