Governor Chris Sununu Submits Disaster Declaration Request, Writes to NH Congressional Delegation Regarding Disaster Relief Funding

Concord, NH – Yesterday, Governor Chris Sununu requested that President Joe Biden issue a major disaster declaration and provide federal emergency assistance for the damage that occurred in New Hampshire as a result of severe weather and flooding from July 9 – July 17, 2023.

Today, Governor Chris Sununu wrote to members of New Hampshire’s Congressional Delegation with concerns regarding the recent notice sent by FEMA to the states regarding the suspension of payments from the Disaster Relief Fund and the switch to Immediate Needs Funding.
